MDS 3.0 Training at Spring Workshop, April 23, 2010 in Pocatello
The MDS 3.0 will become effective on 10/1/2010. This session will discuss the use of the resident voice and standardized tools being integrated into the MDS. We will examine each section of the MDS 3.0 and the RAI requirements. We will also discuss the change from Resident Assessment Protocols (RAPs) to Care Area Triggers (CATs). A case study and exercise on working with the Care Areas Assessment will be included. Participants will have “take aways” of tools that the facility can begin to utilize immediately in preparation for the MDS 3.0. Read more...
